About Us

Welcome to the Collington Residents Association website.

Our nonprofit Life Plan Community – the Collington Episcopal Life Plan Community – is part of the Kendal Network of retirement communities.  We are located in Maryland outside of Washington, D.C. Collington provides independent living, assisted living (including memory care), and skilled nursing services to 500 residents. Our campus is a Certified Wildlife Habitat.

This website is maintained by a group of volunteers to encourage sharing, a core value of our life plan community. The website is one of the many activities of the Residents Association, the non-profit corporation to which all residents belong. The website seeks to highlight resident activities and be a resource for resident services.

If you would like more formal information about our amazing community, consult Collington.Kendal.org.  Our current Board of Directors is listed here.  Our Management Team is described here.

The Collington Foundation

The Collington Foundation, Inc. is the philanthropic arm of Collington Episcopal Life Care Community. The Foundation is the tax-exempt entity entrusted with the management and disposition of funds donated by residents and other generous contributors. Its purpose is to serve the Collington community—residents and employees— where specific needs exist. The Foundation occasionally provides capital funds for projects that enjoy community support. The basis of this activity is grounded in a tradition of generous support initiated by our founding residents.

News of the Foundation may be found here.
