Fitness Opportunities Galore!

Contributed by the Fitness Committee

If you want to stay fit at Collington, there are many choices in addition to anything you may do alone, like walking the trails or paths.  There are group activities offered by Collington staff, those offered by SAGE through instructors from Prince George’s Community College, and fitness options offered by residents.   The full list, with times and people to contact, is given below.

Residents are discussing the possibility of adding chair volley ball.  If you’re itching to do something not offered currently, just introduce the idea on the list-serve, and see if other people are interested.   It took only one inquiry from Bill Lively to start the Chess Club in about two weeks.

  1. Too late for this article, I suggested a Ruth Bader Ginsberg WORKOUT! It would include the floor exercises and weight training that RBG does!
