Yesterday, at 7 PM in the auditorium, many of us saw a great introduction and demonstration of “High Wheels,” the weird style of bike that was “high tech” in the 1880s.
The oral reviews were very positive, and now we can all see why. This 17 minute video is informative and entertaining, and in the case of the demonstration at the end, almost breathtaking. All thanks to Thomas Hawkins and Nick Ackerman. Thomas is the son of Colingt0n Residents Ted and Ria Hawkins, and Nick is a friend of Thomas’. Thanks to John Lees, our wonderful cameraman.
